A Date With Destiny
Read time: 3 minutes
A few days ago, my brother and I returned from six wild, beautiful, long days with the one and only Tony Robbins.
Date With Destiny.
West Palm Beach, Florida.
3,000 people.
15-hour days.
And a version of ourselves we hadn’t yet met.
And quite honestly…
We almost didn’t go. And then once we went... we almost left.
Let me explain.
Tony Robbins has been in my Life for years—first through my dad, who still calls him Anthony Robbins. (Old school!)
Then later, through the idea of coaching itself.
Back when I thought coaching was just standing on stages, giving powerful speeches, changing lives in a single breath.
Before I learned that coaching is much more subtle. More sacred. That it’s about presence, not performance.
Still… Tony’s work planted something in me. A possibility. A fire.
So when the opportunity came for Jamie and I to attend Date With Destiny, I felt honoured. Humbled.
But I didn’t feel excited.
In fact, I wrestled with it.
Because saying yes meant taking six full days off from the business.
Six full days of not coaching, not creating, not building momentum.
And if you’re an entrepreneur—heck, even if you’re just a human wired for productivity—you know how hard that feels.
It feels hard to step away from what gives you immediate return. Hard to pause the part of you that’s so used to doing… in order to sit with who you’re becoming.
But something deeper in me said go. So I listened.
And yet… on Day 1, I still found myself doubting.
I could feel the old thoughts creeping back in:
“You should be home.”
“You should be serving your clients.”
“You should be building the thing.”
Jamie felt it too.
We looked at each other and said, “Should we leave?”
We could’ve changed our flights. Gotten back to work.
But something deeper—something higher—said:
“Stay. Trust the process. You may not see it yet. But it’s coming.”
And just like that… we recommitted.
We stayed.
And a few hours later, that very same day… everything shifted.
That night, I got it.
I saw exactly why we were there.
I saw that this experience, this room, this destiny… wasn’t about hype or motivation.
It was about identity.
It was about values.
It was about truth.
It was about healing.
And it was about our future—mine, Jamie’s, my family’s, my clients’, my future wife’s and kids’, and everyone I serve.
Six days of digging, questioning, crying, dancing, journaling, stretching, expanding.
Six days of rewiring the values that drive me. Uncovering the root of what actually fuels my Life.
Not the ones I say out loud, but the ones I live from.
I now know this:
My Life will never be the same again. And neither will the lives of those I touch.”
Because this wasn’t just six days at a seminar.
This was a reset. A realignment. A recalibration of my entire nervous system.
It was a remembering.
And it almost didn’t happen.
So with that, I want to offer you this...
Where in your Life is the thing you need most the one you’re resisting right now?
Where are you considering walking away—because it doesn’t make sense yet?
Where is Life (or God, or the universe, or Spirit, or whatever you choose) nudging you to stay… just a little longer?
You don’t have to see it yet.
You just have to trust that there’s more than meets the eye.
Because sometimes, resistance isn’t a stop sign. It’s a threshold.
It’s the tension before the release. The pressure before the breakthrough.
The very thing you don’t want to feel… might just be the doorway to everything you’ve been asking for.
I’m grateful we stayed.
I’m grateful we trusted.
And I’m deeply, deeply grateful for God knowing we needed to BE there.
Sometimes the work isn’t doing more. It’s staying. Sometimes the next level of your Life is behind the door you almost walked away from.
Stay open.
Stay empty.
Stay listening.
The shift might be closer than you think.
~
Happy Saturday.
Love & Blessings,
Julian

PS.
If you're in a moment of doubt right now... this is your permission slip not to fix it or force it—but to stay.
To BE still long enough for the clarity to land.
To hold the tension without needing to solve it right away.
To let your Life show you what it’s trying to show you—without rushing the reveal.
Trust the process. The signal is coming.
